THIS CHOREOGRAPHY WAS BASED ON THE ANTHROPOLOGICAL STUDIES OF  GEORGES BATAILLE - FRENCH THEORETICIAN- WITH RESPECT TO THE EROTICISM IN RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CONCEPT OF “LOSS” . THE SCENIC PIECE WAS BASED ESPECIALLY REFERRING TO HIS BOOK “TEARS OF EROS”  (1961). 

WE WAS FIND  CONNECTIONS IN THE CREATION OF MOVEMENTS OF DANCE AND ESTETIC RELATED TO THE OUR SEXUALITIIES , THE VIRGINITY AND THE DEATH LIKE EROTIC STATE. 

 

THE SCENOGRAPHIC ELEMENTS WERE  INCLUDED METAPHORICALLY- THE WATER, DRESSES AND OTHER- , REFERRING TO EXPERIENCES AND THE CONCEPTS TREATED LIKE THE ILLUMINATION DESIGN TOO. 

 

THE WRITING OF MY FATHER ONE DAY BEFORE YOUR DIE, WAS SAYED IN THE FINAL PART OF CHOREOGRAPHY

It is a choreography with live video. The concepts put the public space and private space relationship ,  through the interpersonal relations and the behaviors of “the feminine” gender, mentioning certain cliches and “dramatic” situations as a denoting the representations exerted on the woman in our culture.

 

 

This work especially , is a site specific work for the “Arcis Theater”, that included a space type residential department - LofT style-  what the choreography propose as an appropriation and reference towards the same treated concepts of the dance.
